The patented LIPOSHELL® technology makes it possible to obtain iron in liposomal form. FE-LIP® contains free iron (not encapsulated in liposomes), similar to other traditional supplements, as well as liposomal encapsulated iron (at least 50%). This composition allows iron absorption through two different transport pathways:
– through the circulatory system – the traditional absorption mechanism used in food supplements,
– through the lymphatic system – a mechanism only possible through liposomes.
